Preconnectorized drop cable is a fiber optic cable and a fiber optic connector that are
processed through a certain process and then fixed to the fiber
optic connector at both ends of the fiber optic cable, so as to
form a product with a fiber optic cable in the middle and a fiber
optic connector at both ends. Classified by mode, it can be divided
into single-mode fiber and multi-mode fiber. According to the type
of connector, the commonly used fiber jumpers can be divided into
LC, SC, FC, ST, etc. According to the application classification,
it can generally be divided into MTP/MPO, armored, conventional,
etc.
The transceiver wavelengths of the optical modules on both ends of
the Fiber Optic Patch Cord must be the same, that is to say, the
two ends of the fiber must be optical modules with the same
wavelength. The simple way to distinguish the optical modules is to
have the same color. In general, short-wave optical modules use
multimode fibers (orange fibers), and long-wave optical modules use
single-mode fibers (yellow fibers) to ensure the accuracy of data
transmission. Do not bend and loop the optical fiber excessively
during use, which will increase the attenuation of light during
transmission.
